    Zhipeng Lei received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Taiyuan University of Technology, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical Electronics and Information Engineering, University of Bologna, in 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor in the College of Electrical and Power Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology. His main research fields are in the condition assessment of the high-voltage cable failure and associated partial discharges characteristics, space charge properties of the electrical insulation and nanodielectric, and intelligence techniques for electrical apparatuses of coal mine.
